Dragons were the most powerful creatures known to man. To defeat one would require all of <Kingdom>'s bravery, brawn and perhaps even a bit of magic to too! (A Legendary Trait is available in this quest)
Slay the Serpent is one of two approaches to the quest The Dragon of (Kingdom Name) and it costs 4 QP to start. it is a paltry aspect quest that becomes available when the kingdom has low Knowledge. This approach can be completed with a variety of hero combinations.
- Primary- Knight (Lvl 5+), Monarch (Lvl 5+) or Spy and secondary Blacksmith, Merchant, Spy, Physician or Wizard
- Primary- Wizard (Lvl 5+) and secondary Merchant, Spy or Physician
People had always spoken of the rumors of the dragon of (Kingdom name) in hushed tones. No one wanted to evoke the mighty beast. But when the humble Peasant Reynaldo reported that he and several others had been attacked in the caves below (Kingdom name), (Primary Hero) knew they had to act. Who else would be capable of taking on such a fearsome foe?

- Knight (K): -Ask Peasant Reynaldo about Dragon Attack
- (K) -Request Aid from Blacksmith
- (K) -Investigate the Cave
- Blacksmith (B): Travel to Tredony
- (B) -Forge the Wyrmslayer Sword
- (K) -Ask (2nd Hero) about Fire Breath
- (B) -Acquire Book about Dragons (“Dragons, Drakes and Wyverns, Oh My!”. (Can be found at Village Shop or in Bookshelves around Kingdom)
- (B) -Read Book on Dragons
- (B) -Give the Wyrmslayer Sword to Knight
- (K) -Practice with Wyrmslayer
- (K) -Continue Practicing Until 'Combat Ready'
- (K) -Fight Forest Drakes
- (B) -Forge Flame Resistant Shield
- (B) -Give Shield to Knight
***TIP: Be 'Good Friends' or higher relationship with other quest Hero. Others have had the Monarch send the 2nd Sim to the Pit after “Investigating the Cave and Getting Burned”**[]
- (K) -Investigate Cave
- (K) -Ask Blacksmith about Fire Breath
- (B) -Craft Flame Proof Shield
- (B) -Give the Shield to Knight
**Read Tips for Last move**[]
**Need lots of positive buffs (Meal, well rested, bathed, gussy up, feed pit beast, pick herb, new friend, combat ready, etc) Or you will “Get lost in cave’s twists & end up back outside” and have to go back in
**SAVE before going in cave, you can exit to menu and keep reloading game until you get the Legendary Trait you want (I wanted Herculean )

- Fight the Dragon
- Emerge from Cave Victorious and choose Legendary Trait.
