Placate is one of two approaches to the quest Peasant Revolt. This is a paltry aspect quest for Security and it costs 3 QP to start. It is a solo quest for the Bard or Merchant hero of any level. Requires the Tavern location.

• Check the Town Square
• Discuss the State of Kingdom with 3 Dissidents

Choice - Track the Peasants -or- Befriend a Peasant

1. Track- Follow Peasants to find their Leader
2. Befriend- Become a friend of a Peasant

• Meet the Peasant Leader (Tavern)
• Find out the demands from Peasant Leader

• Give money to the Peasant Leader
• Wait until 8:00 am
• Ask Peasant Leader about the resolution

Choice - $600, Fine! Get to work -or- Greedy, teach some manners

1. Befriend- Become a friend of a Peasant
2. Bribe- Bribe a Peasant

• Meet the Peasant Leader (Tavern)
• Find out the demands from Peasant Leader
• Acquire 5 Soap from Village
• Put 3 Gruels in your inventory
• Give Gruel and Soap to the Peasant Leader

• Wait until 8:00 am
• Ask Peasant Leader about the resolution

Choice - Fancy soap -or- Bribe the peasants

1. Fancy- Sail to Tredony --> Give stuff to the Leader
2. Bribe- Bribe the Peasant Leader --> Bribe the Peasant Leader

Darkly- It was a dark and stormy night in the Kingdom...

Demons- But the Peasants didn't know their place and angry noble-spirits rose from their graves...

Demons- ...and transformed into a demon that ate all the unruly peasants!

Demons- And from that day forward, the peasant bone-mound served as a reminder to all peasants to do their work without complaints.

Explosions- But then a ship full of unruly peasants exploded!

Explosions- The only unruly peasant that remained was this boy in a cage.

Explosions- But don't worry, he died too. He deserved it.

Peacefully- It was a peaceful day in the countryside of the Kingdom.

Famine- But then a terrible storm killed all the livestock. What would the unruly peasants do? They'd already squandered their emergency supply of food!

Famine- They were driven to eat frogs.

Famine- And they had to devour forest animals for the rest of their days.

Divine- But the peasants were disrupting the order of the Kingdom, and The Watcher rained a furious plague upon them!

Divine- The corpses of the unruly peasants were removed. Even dead unruly peasants had no home in the Kingdom.

Nobility- The nobles and royalty were finally able to return to their normal lives, satisfied that there would be no more unruly peasants.

The Watcher- The Watcher was furious at the unruly peasants and threatened to destroy any who overstepped their boundaries in the future.

(Merchant) - The peasants decided they were quite pleased with the soap, even if some weren't quite sure what to do with it...

End- The peasant revolt was swiftly put down and their were able to return to their fields. The town returned to business as usual.
