Deal With the Peasants! is one of three approaches to the quest Hungry Hungry Hamfast! and costs 3 QP to start. This is a solo quest for the Monarch.

Walkthrough

"My rule must not be challenged."

• Go to the Town Square
• Discuss protest with Hamfast
• Seek advice from Royal Advisor
• Assess situation in the Village

Choice - Improve the Village conditions -or- Strategically reduce the Village count (good vs. evil choice)

Improve

• Discuss improvements with Hamfast
• Call for food from Servant --> Discuss plans with Hamfast

Choice - Fix the Well yourself -or- Pay to have it repaired

1. Fix- Investigate the Well --> Draw Water from the Well --> Fix Well in Village
2. Pay- Discuss fixing Well with Advisor --> Give Advisor $100

Choice - Clear out the rats by yourself -or- Hire a professional Ratstomper

1. Hunt Yourself- Kill rats in the Village
2. Hire- Discuss killing rats with Royal Advisor --> Give Advisor $50

Choice - Cook for the whole Village -or- Pay to have food shipped

1. Cook- Have 5 Gruels in inventory --> Delivery food to the Village
2. Pay- Discuss food with Advisor --> Give Advisor $20

• Discuss state of the Village with Hamfast

Reduce

• Discuss Villagers with Royal Advisor

Choice - Send peasants to Crafthole -or- Wait for them to starve

1) Crafthole- Discuss deal with Smithmaster of Crafthole

• Order Hamfast to Crafthole --> Send Hamfast to the Stocks
• Order Hungry Protestor to Crafthole
• Choice - Throw an Egg -or- Tomato --> Throw Egg/Tomato at Hamfast
• Release Hamfast and give her an ultimatum --> Send Hamfast to the Pit (she dies..)

2) Starve- Practice Military strategy --> Hunt at the Forest

• Practice Cards at the Game table for 1 hr
• Go to the Town Square
• Call for Food from the Servant --> Eat
• Have 5 Gruels in inventory --> Give Gruels to Hamfast
• Give Gruels to - Royal Advisor, Servant, Emissary of Tredony, Emissary of Crafthole
• Return to Town Square --> Death
• Taunt Hamfast (she dies..)
