The antithesis of Tredony, the people of Crafthole are the makers and doers of the world, Their determination is grounded in their belief that hard work equals success, and that a Sim – no matter how poor – can always pull himself up by his bootstraps.

Kingdom,Tredony,Crafthole

Crafthole is south of Kingdom as seen on the picture.

Crafthole is an industrious territory that thrives on hard work and determination. It's possible that the area has become somewhat polluted from its industry, as Sims make references to the region having a bad smell. Crafthole is locally governed by a Sim known as the Smithmaster, but is officially part of the kingdom from the start.

One response to Hungry Hungry Hamfast! has the advisor suggest that rather then kill the peasants involved in the demonstration, that the monarch should consider selling them to Crafthole. This initially suggests slavery however the Smithmaster's words imply that mudpushers are a respected lot, and in high demand. Thus, as per it's belief in determination, and hard work to succeed in life, the solution isn't quite selling them into slavery so much as exiling them to conduct rather dirty business in a foreign land, with no hope of return.

Trading[]

Crafthole imports ores and minerals: Electrum. A precious metal, but unfortunately quite soft. It is favored for making decoratives and delicate instruments due to its high malleability. Electrum for §30, Ferrous. This ore can be smelted into a very strong and hard metal. It is very common around the land and is favored for weapons and other tools that take heavy abuse. Ferrous for §15, other ores can and should be traded to other territories.
