The BardEdit

The storyline for the Bard starts off with you noticing that people aren't reacting the same to your music. You then proceed to ask one of the townspeople about the lack of reaction to your music.

"What's causing this disturbance?"
Talk to Someone Quest Objective Investigate Disturbance with Townspeople
Reward: 10 XP

The Bard then gets a choice of how to proceed. The first approach has one more step in it, and a lot more XP.

How should the quest party proceed?
Poem Choice Write a Poem to Spread the News
Music Choice Play a Song to Rally the People

The first approach will involve you asking 2 people for inspiration. The themes you pick up from the people will be used to allow the Bard to construct the poem.

"I'll need to gain details about the missing child before I write."
Poem Quest Objective Ask 2 People for Inspiration
Reward: 10 XP

After gaining enough themes through the previous step, you are then able to construct a poem.

"With the inspiration I've gathered, I should be an adequate poem"
Poem Quest Objective Write a Poem
Reward: 50 XP

To do the above step, go to the Bard's Archive table upstairs in the Tavern, and wait for the action to be completed. After this action is completed, you will be asked to recite the poem to 3 people.

"Now to spread the word"
Scroll Quest Objective Recite Poem to 3 Townspeople
Reward: 30 XP

The third person you recite the poem to will tell you that they found a boy near the entrance to the town. Armed with this information, you are now to go and talk to the boy, and ask about his disappearance.

"I wonder why he disappared like this?"
Talk to Someone Quest Objective Ask About the Boy's Disappearance
Reward: 50 XP

When you talk to him, he will tell you that he ran off because he wanted to escape from the uncultured slobs in the town.

If you choose to attempt the second approach, you will decide to play 3 songs from your lute to encourage other people to search for the child. It doesn't matter what songs you play.

"I'll inspire people to find the child through song!"
60px Perform 3 songs on the Lute
Reward: 10 (30 for final song) XP

After playing the songs, you will then have to pass the time until the next quest step is made available

"The people have been inspired. It's only a matter of time!"
Wait Quest Objective Wait for News

When some time has passed (several hours game time), news will have arrived that the boy has been found. You then need to ask him why he disappeared. He will explain that it was because he was tired of not hearing good songs in the town.

"I wonder why he disappeared like this? It's only a matter of time!"
Talk to Someone Quest Objective Ask about Boy's Disappearance

The MonarchEdit

The storyline for the Monarch starts by asking the Royal Advisor about the missing child.

"Maybe my advisor has more details."
Talk to Someone Quest Objective Investigate Disturbance with Advisor
Reward: 10 XP

The Monarch then gets a choice of how to proceed. Both approaches have relatively the same number of quest objectives. However, there aren't many, so if you're going for Platinum, take your time.

How should the quest party proceed?
Monarch Choice Meet with the Subjects to Gather Information About the Missing Child
Monarch Choice Write Documents Declaring the Child Missing and Spread Them in the Kingdom

If you choose to talk to your citizens your next move will be to talk to a townie. They'll tell you that the child is somewhere in your Kingdom, either the Docks, Forest, or Village Outskirts. They'll be wrong, you'll ask someone else, get the same kind of answer and they'll be wrong as well.

"The townspeople will know!"
Talk to Someone Quest Objective Ask a Townsperson about Missing Child
Reward: 10 XP
"By the beach? I should get there quickly."
Go to Beach Quest Objective Search the Beach
Reward: 10 XP
"Hopefully the next townsperson is a little... wiser."
Talk to Someone Quest Objective Ask a Townsperson about Missing Child
Reward: 10 XP
"The forest is dangerous, I should head there at once."
Go to Forest Quest Objective Search the Forest
Reward: 10 XP

With faith waning, the Monarch will ask one last citizen, they'll tell you that the child is in the Town Square. Sounding too good to be true, the Monarch will ask the townie again.

"One last chance, townspeople, don't let me down."
Talk to Someone Quest Objective Ask a Townsperson about Missing Child
Reward: 10 XP
"Are you absolutely sure?"
Talk to Someone Quest Objective Confirm Details with Townie
Reward: 10 XP

If you chose to write documents, the Monarch will have to "Write Royal Documents" five times. After that you'll have to give out the documents: one to the advisor, one to each foreign leader, one to the town crier, and one lastly to a townie. That townie will tell you to check the Town Square.

"First to write up a few documents"
0/5 Documents Written
Write Something Quest Objective Write 5 Royal Documents
Reward: 10 XP
"Now to pass these out."
Involves Paper Quest Objective Give Royal Documents to Citizens
Reward: 10 XP

When you go to the Town Square the child is there. When you talk to him he'll tell you that he'd thought the Monarch has lost touch with their people, but obvoiusly he was wrong. The End.

"If he's not there, I swear someone's going in the pit."
Go to Town Square Quest Objective Search the Town Square
Reward: 10 XP
"I wonder why he disappeared like this?"
Talk to Someone Quest Objective Ask About the Boy's Disappearance
Reward: 50 XP
